My Three Favourite Newsletters
I find newsletters to be extremely empowering, resourceful, and most of all - interesting. I spent every day readying at least a couple of newsletters (doesn’t take me more than 30mins in total!) and honestly it has helped me to grow and develop so much.
That’s why I wanted to share with you my three favourite newsletters that keep me informed, empowered, and feeling like a boss babe. Are you ready to grab your coffee or cocktail (hey, no judgement here!), and dive into it?
1. It’s all about the global picture. 🌍
First up, we have the New York Times’ Morning Briefing. I mean, what better way to start your day than with a dose of global news, right? As a busy woman who's always on-the-go, I normally read this one first thing in the morning when I am at the gym, while I simultaneously try to warm up on a bike, and actually wake up and function like a decent human being.
I love how this newsletter covers everything from politics and economics to pop culture and recipes. And let's be real, who doesn't want to impress their friends with some fancy new recipe they learned from Times Cooking? (next one coming in as a free gift in AltGirl!) Plus, it's a great way to stay in the loop and know what's happening in the world without feeling overwhelmed by all the doom and gloom.
You can review all of the NYT’s newsletters here.
Frequency: Daily. Subscription options: I believe you need to be a paying subscriber to have access to their newsletters (I might be wrong!). Time to read: 7-10mins.
2. Becoming a pro in your industry. 📣
Next, we have the Daily CTA. As a fierce boss lady who's been killing it in the agency world for three years now (according to my mom, lol), I know how important it is to stay on top of the latest trends in digital marketing, and what kind of impact that has on your work. That's exactly what this newsletter helps you do!
It gives me all the juicy insights and updates on what's happening in the digital world, so I can stay ahead of the game and slay my clients' campaigns. Plus, it only takes me five minutes to read - which means I can stay informed without sacrificing precious time for myself.
Frequency: Daily. Subscription options: Free. Time to read: 5mins.
3. Let’s make it personal. 💆🏼♀️
Last but not least - The Daily Good, by the good trade. It’s a daily newsletter that covers a wide range of topics, from fashion and beauty to wellness and travel.
I absolutely love it, and it’s probably my favourite thing to read in the internet at the moment. It really helps me to unwind after a long day at work, and I always come away feeling inspired and motivated. Plus, the newsletter is super easy to read (even easier than AltGirl!) and always puts me in a good mood. It's my ultimate source of feel-good content!
Frequency: Daily. Subscription options: Free. Time to read: 2mins (max).
So there you have it, my three favourite newsletters. From staying up-to-date on global news, to keeping up with the latest trends in the digital marketing industry, and finally taking some well-deserved "me" time, and bringing all the positive and feminine energy in. I can read all of them in under 30 mins, and the fact they all are coming from a highly reliable news source makes it even better.
I would love to learn which is YOUR favourite newsletter(s), what you cannot stop reading, and why. Please drop your answer in the comments section below! (or email me at newsletter@altgirl.net)
